Can I trade during news events?
Holding open trades during news is allowed, but execution is restricted. No orders can be placed 5 minutes before or after high-impact news (per the Forex Factory calendar). Example: NFP at 17:30 — no orders between 17:25 and 17:35. Profits during this window are deducted; losses remain your responsibility.
